The sun is shining!!

Still cold...but after two days of rain...I'll take it! We got a lot of rain and the rivers are all flooding!! Glad I don't have to commute any back roads today!! Rain really makes my arms and head ache badly...so I don't think I was online at all yesterday....just spaced out! Looking forward to our first bike ride of the season on Saturday! Our bike club is going to NH and around...gonna be great....as long as I don't freeze to death! Love you all!

Ok..here's the deal...

...been on the phone for three days with Time Warner trying to get my internet service restored...today, I'm getting emails but can't access the web. What's up with that? So I called again...FINALLY got someone intelligent on the phone....and it turns out that it's my new FIREWALL that's doing it!! As soon as I disabled it...all was well with the web. NOW what?? So I contacted makers of the firewall and asked just that!! We will see. I have a wait and see attitude about my puter these days. Will be glad when Den fixes my new one! I miss it!! Did I mention this one is sloooowwww!! Yup, it is! Love you all!!

What's next??

If you don't hear from me for awhile..having trouble keeping my internet going...been on the phone with Time Warner for the last two days trying to fix it..but they are saying that my internet card on this old puter is no good...but I ain't fixin it...so may be on...may not be on.....I've had it. Mike flagged for almost 23 hours yesterday in Lewiston! He was some tired when he got home 5:30 this morning!! They had Main street all dug up and couldn't resolve their problems so it took all night!! He was just a draggin this morning! I didn't sleep much either...just worrying about him. I wonder if they realize that it's against the law to make a fella work that long!! Got that package in VA yet?? Love you all!

Gonna be a hot one today!!

Might even hit 80! I'm all for that! Sitting in the porch swing and just toastin!! My wonderful son has just gotten another raise!! Congrats to him!! New Balance appreciates a good man when they've got one!! Not to mention they don't want him going into the paper mill again!! LOL!! He's a smart guy...and talented!! You ought to hear him play guitar and sing!! NICE!! I kinda chuckled at my granddaughter the other day...she's so worried about being a good mom..and she IS a good mom!! Remember the first time you clipped baby's nails a little too close and made baby cry!! Yup...happens to us all...she was really panicked about it...poor girl! But we've all been there-done that!! Makes you feel bad but baby gets over it quicker than the mom does!! Our baby is in the shop....think maybe the alternator might have some problems...so we're getting it serviced...and a great day like this and no bike!! UGH!!! Love you all!!

Hmmmm?

How does a mother 'write off' a son? How do you love and care for a child for 14+ years and then just forget he was ever born? I don't know...my heart is not made that way. There must be something in the water in Washington State...because these people are delusional!! I may be on antidepressants but at least I can see what's going on around me. Can a person have a normal relationship with another "online"? Hmmm...I'm thinking that to truly understand a situation...you have to have ALL the facts from ALL the participants. What do you think? I know I'll never win "mother of the year" but I never "abused" my children...and love them all equally. It's really not fair to be condemned without due process. Not even American!! Love all my kids and grandkids!!

What a weekend!

Got our bike home yesterday and then went to Portsmouth NH to do our "meat" shopping. Then today we headed out about 7:30am to gram's, Gloria's and Den's!! That baby has grown sooo much..such a little cutie...gonna have blue eyes, I think...and hair is getting blonde! Here's a pic in one of her new dresses. And a pic of my 'baby'!! He played the 12 string guitar and sang for me...I could listen to that ALL DAY!! He made lemon-pepper chicken on the grill that was to die for!!! Salad was excellent too!! We had a lot of fun!! He's got my new puter up there now and he's gonna try hard to fix it for me! I miss it! This one is soooooooooooo slow!!

Might hit the 70's here today!!

Wooooohoooo! Gonna go get the bike tomorrow..but wish I was riding on it today! Looking forward to Sunday....gonna hold that baby! How's the reconstruction going in VA?? Stop stressing!! Love you all!

Sun's shining!!

Love it!! Going to be fairly warm again today...spent a lot of time sitting on the porch yesterday...have a nice porch swing...and I was just a swingin'!! I hate to say it..but it's looking like showers Saturday..Mike ain't gonna be happy! He really wanted to go get our bike! But no matter the weather...we're going to Den's on Sunday!! Yippeee!! I'll take lots of new pix!! She's getting so big! Gotta run...painting some tables for the porch! Got one done...three to go!! UGH!!

Another beautiful day....

Spring has finally come to Maine!! Might even hit 60 today with NO cold wind!! Really looking forward to going to Den's this weekend and holding Alexis again...before she grows up!! I made her six little dresses...gonna look sweeeeeeeeeeet!! I also made another for my princess in VA! AND Mike is going to get our bike Saturday morning!! YIPPEEEEEEE!!! Can't wait for a ride!! but gotta have it serviced and prepared first! UGH! Got good news from Den...his blood pressure is finally going down!! But he has neck problems...just like the rest of us!! I really think it runs in the family! Love you all!!

Yesterday was a sad day.

We went to Bridgton to Mike's aunt's funeral. She was the last sister his mom had and it was very hard to see the sadness and sorrow there. Mike and his bro Bruce are both very sensitive guys and they just sobbed at their mom's sorrow. Was a very difficult thing to get thru! I'm so wrung out today!!

Really looks like spring today!

What a beautiful day! Might even hit 50! Laugh if you want...but here that's really good! Special day...got another teen in the family. Elijah is 13 today! Threshold of manhood! Unbelievable!! If you want to know what a miracle he is...read Lyn's blog about his birth!! Made me cry to remember what a tense time that was! And he's just plain wonderful! Talented, sweet-natured, intelligent...just a wonderful guy! And his voice is changing...sounds like another man in the house!! Happy Birthday, Elijah!!

I've had it!!

My new puter is really, really sick!! So now I'm on the old one again! Got a virus or worm or dialer...maybe all!! And it won't let me get rid of it!! My arms couldn't take it anymore and I was worried about security issues...so I unplugged the darn thing and want to take it to Den to deal with! Aren't I awful!! LOL!! Gotta go...arms are gonna fall off!

It might hit 60 today!!

Yippeee!! Supposed to rain all weekend tho...and even snow...unreal!! This is the first Wednesday in months that it hasn't snowed or rained!! You know why???? Cause it's Mark and Ruth's anniversary!! They have to have all the warm sunny weather!! Happy Anniversary you two!!! Gonna finish up sewing today and put the machine away for a little while...maybe. Also have to go get tortured by that darn foot doctor this morning..UGH!! SOOOOO not looking forward to it. My regular doctor said..."just take it off!!" I'm thinking about it seriously! What do you think??

It hasn't snowed for several days....

...maybe spring will come! It was quite nice today...in upper 40's...and a lot of our snow melted. Went to Conway NH Sunday and Mike's mom and stepfather have at least 10 feet of snow throughout the back yard!! and the snowbanks are well beyond that!! and still ice on the road!! I've never in my life seen anything like it! Those people really got plowed with snow this year!! I actually have a little bit of bare lawn now...not them!! It will be July before they see grass! It was his stepdad's birthday and of course, we had to go see the "martha wannabe" there. Not a pleasant experience for me at all. But I do it cause I love him. Got my sewing about done...running out of pain pills!! LOL!! made 6 little dresses for the new great granddaughter and one for the princess in VA! Hope they like them! Love you all!!

The dreaded doctor's appointment.

Yup, was feeling bad enough..but then got weighed....GAINED TWO POUNDS since January!! Of course he tried to make me feel better by suggesting it was the new anti-depressant I was on....which he took me off cause it was giving me wicked nightmares almost every night!! So I start a new one today...hopefully without nightmares or weight gain! It's supposed to snow again today...but they don't expect it to amount to anything or last...just the idea that it's SNOW is very upsetting after being in the 50's yesterday for the first time! They say that spring is REALLY coming..........

I think I have mean little pixies in the house!

They sneak around at night and bend all my sewing pins in half! Very irritating! Guess I should attempt to buy new ones and see what happens. Sorry there's a sick boy in VA!! Hope he doesn't spread it around and is feeling better! Glad pianoman's mouth is feeling better too! He's so brave! When are you getting the braces? Gonna be a talented pianoman with a dazzling smile!! Love you all!!

We're baaaack!

The "balloon" thingy seems to have been a success in reducing the pressure of the blockage...now Bruce has to get himself in shape for the inevitable open-heart that was postponed today. But the nurse told us not to keep bugging him about what to do and not to do because it just makes things worse...so we just smile and hope for the best! Told him we gotta go riding soon! Love you all....I'm tired!

Congrats to the grandson!!

Did you all know that Josh is the second best wrestler in the 135lb division for the State of Maine??? Yup....he's gonna take down his dad if he keeps this up!! LOL!! I'm very proud of you, Josh!! Keep up the good work! Love you all!!

Not good news....

Mike's brother was taken back to Maine Med yesterday and they determined this morning that he has a large blockage at the bottom of his heart. They are going to try to "balloon" it tomorrow...because the heart surgeon doesn't believe he would survive another open-heart surgery!! Needless to say, we will be at Maine Med tomorrow and hoping and praying for this to work for him! Please keep him in your prayers! Love you all!!
