Alexis is born!!
Yippee!! She arrived at 9:30 this morning..and her poor mom has been in labor since 11am yesterday! They sent her home last night only to bring her back about 4:30 this morning! She's been a real trooper tho! I'm proud of her! Alexis weighed in at 8lbs 2oz and is 20" long! And Den says she's hairy!! He's going to email me some pix tonight...yippeee!! I think the whole thing was harder on Tam tho! I know what it feels like to stand there and watch your daughter go thru this for the first time and not be able to spare her the pain!! UGH!!! Den and Tam are gonna be fantastic grandparents!! Love you all!!

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I know it's hard to know your child is in pain but it isn't harder than actual labor. Really. There isn't much in life that is harder than labor.
Sooo, when you see princess in labor, you wouldn't take her place in an instant, c'mon now. I've never been in labor, but when D was in hard labor, I saw them both and Tam was in worse pain. (or less drugs as the case may be).
