Warm weather is holding....

...at least until next week..more snow predicted for Monday! I have been doing some tole painting and I like to have some "noise" going on while I paint. So I either put on the radio or a vhs tape or dvd in to listen to while painting. Yesterday I decided to view some of the old vhs tapes that have been hanging around since my kids were little...and happened upon Disney's Fantasia. I like classical music and love Disney's cartoons...so it seemed a win/win situation. However, they came to a portion of the movie that was introduced as a most popular waltz for some composer taking place as a ballet in a magnificent palace. I really wanted to get into the thing, in spite of the ballet dancers being hippos and elephants! Unfortunately, as the music began and in spite of trying to concentrate on the beautiful music...all I could hear in my brain was Allan Sherman singing "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah...here I am at Camp Granada"!! He's ruined me for life!! What a shame!!
